Healix expands into new offices in Esher

Demand for health and medical assistance services sees Healix increase by two thirds

Healix House, EsherThe Healix Group, which includes Healix International, Healix Health Services, Healix Risk Rating and wholesale broker, Healix Insurance Services, is moving to a new state-of-the-art headquarters in Esher on 7th November 2011.  Over the last two years, staff numbers at Healix have increased by two-thirds and, with plans to continue to develop our services and customer base, we needed new headquarters to accommodate this growing head count.

Established in 1992, Healix has been based in Hampton, Middlesex for the last six years.  The new state-of-the-art facility in Esher is three times the size of the Hampton offices, comprising 20,500 square feet over four floors to accommodate further anticipated expansion as Peter Mason, Director, Healix Group explains:

"We are continuing to see significant growth across all aspects of the business, so we are looking forward to moving to our new premises in Esher, which offer three times the space. As well as demand growing for our Healthcare Trusts, we are also increasingly involved in supporting global employers in their duty of care for the health and wellbeing of employees working overseas. In addition, our Risk Rating division is expanding into overseas markets with its award-winning Medical Risk Rating tools and Healix Insurance services, our wholesale insurance broker, has seen a 32% increase in revenues this year. 

"The new offices give us the room to grow as well as being completely tailor made to our requirements.  It's a very exciting stage in the development of our business."

Healix now employs 126 people in the UK alone, following a number of significant new  contracts, including the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Virgin Atlantic. We are seeing an increase in third-party medical claims administration contracts for insurers and our focus on delivering services for employers to manage the medical welfare of employees working both in the UK and overseas, means more and more employers are also turning to Healix for assistance.  In particular, our award-winning Healthcare Services business has seen considerable growth as more organisations capitalise on the advantages of healthcare trusts as a real alternative to traditional private medical insurance schemes.
